There are members of the Transformers race called “monoformers” who don’t or can’t transform.  These folks tend to be looked down upon or discriminated against by much of society, a prejudice which is called “shapeism.”  Meanwhile, the Militant Monoform Movement is an activist group of Transformers who have removed their own transformation cog and actively protest this aspect of their culture.
