Drew some prehistoric critters today, and I… hope I got all their names right.

Since 2009 or so, I have drawn everything digitally, so there are no original art pages to be had. Before then, I had tried to sell originals, but nobody wanted them, so that kind of removed what little rationale I had for not doing everything on the computer.
The Calvin and Hobbes exhibit at OSU opened up tonight and Maggie and I went to visit. There was also a Cul de Sac exhibit next door. So much original art. Also, Ben Carter of Woody After Hours found me.
The first photo is of the original art of the first C&H strip. They also had the last. Super crowded, like shoulder to shoulder, so I might try to come back another day.
In an effort to be a healthy financial provider for my son, I’ve put the original art for my last two Batgirl/Supergirl comics up for bid on eBay.
I rarely sell original art so this is a good opportunity to get something of mine if you’re interested. Both pages also include a full-color print of the final comic, which I guess is also something of a rarity now that I’m not selling those online any longer.
ONLY DAYS LEFT TO DONATE! :) We are at $7406 which is AMAZING BUT not amazing enough :) Our goal is $10k by this coming weekend! (and $12k if you want the return of Sailor Bacon!) Check this previous post for art incentives I’m offering :) http://uncalar.tumblr.com/post/77093228976/who-wants-some-original-art-for-the-past-two
Please help by donating, retweeting/reblogging/re-everythinging! :)

After a few more color tweaks, I’m happy with the poster! Thanks to everyone who gave me advice.
This poster is now in the store, and there’s a desktop wallpaper-cropped horizontal version as well! Plus if you’ve never ever been to one of my convention appearances, this is the best way to get original art from me. Funds go towards helping me go cruising with Joel Watson. Er, be on a boat with Joel Watson. We’re bringing our wives! So it’s not gay.

Original art for the one-page Death’s Head story “High Noon Tex”, which was run prior to the character’s Transformers UK appearance in order to secure the rights with Marvel rather than Hasbro. Though artist Geoff Senior created Death’s Head along with writer Simon Furman, art for this page was by Bryan Hitch. The note penciled along the top says “Death’s Head Thingie”.
I purchased this from Simon at BotCon ‘97 (hence the signature), and it’s remained framed in a place of honor ever since.
(Not like “creepy shrine” place of honor, more like “near my desk” place of honor.)
Here’s a thing: I’m selling the original art of my “Best Taco” comic. Remember this guy? Oh man! What a throwback! Was I ever so young?
I had no idea what to price it at, so it’s up on eBay. I’ll ship worldwide - it’s just $10 to wherever. I promise the package will include goodies.
Have a piece of my weird comics history!
I am also in the process of listing several new pieces in my Etsy this week, so keep checking in. Thanks! <3

Yeah, I remember when those early DoA strips were my Best Ever Art, and now they look like it came out of my butt.
