So when Play-Doh Guy is out of his can, is he like… naked?
Are we teaching our children to play with the naked bodies of their friends?
Are you slut-shaming the Play-Doh guy?

Does this mean that My Little Pony also took place in the same universe as Jem / G.I. Joe / Transformers etc?
Jem Season 3 - The Stingers Hit Town, Part 2
In the early stages of creating the MLP movie, Buzz Dixon wanted the ponies to first go on a quest to find allies to face their adversary, including Optimus Prime and a drunken Shipwreck. Hasbro declined. Because they hate all that is good.

Jesus as a My Little Pony, marching to his death by crucifixion.
I just want to know how that pony’s getting nailed to that cross. Do equine arms work that way? Do you drive the nails through the hooves, like a horseshoe?
Wasn’t originally planning to continue Monday’s strip, but this morning I figgered why the hell not.
This guy is inspired by the stories my pal Graham had been telling us last week at dinner about the My Little Pony forums he was reading. You know, for his girlfriend. There’s a really stark tonal contrast between the forums that predate Friendship Is Magic and the ones that arose in response to it. Someone should do a research paper.
This. THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS. Look, I’m all guys liking FiM. My little brother loves the show! But I’m getting really sick of whining about the toys not being ~show accurate~ (complaining about a MLP having hair you can style is like complaining about a Transformer being able to transform because you don’t like the kibble). And sheesh, it’s not even a year old yet. Pretty dang early to be whining about how Hasbro isn’t ~catering to men~. Because, y’know, men are the default, deified gender, and should be preferred every time.
The sad thing? I really like the plastic ponies, too. I’d love some of the blind bag ones, if they’re ever more readily purchasable. But I still want my rooted hair ponies. The ones you can make your own, and play with more easily. Like any good toy.
tl;dr I’m all for critiquing the toys, they’re far from perfect, but so much of it is male entitlement.
(and please don’t get me started on the comic that called the Luna toy ‘fat,’ because apparently being fat is the first thing a girl can be)
Late at night, while drunk, I got on Ustream and took art suggestions:
“My Little Pony: Magic Is Unholy”
So, this is an actual thing that happened in a real My Little Pony fan fiction and it wasn’t played as a joke.
I would pay big money to see David McGuire Illustrates Your Hilarious Fanfiction.

Transformers has unlocked More Than One Lady On A Team!
The fans can decide which Transformers character will become the next leader of Cybertron!
Today, Hasbro announced the “Power of the Primes” fan vote, an upcoming event that will place the fate of Cybertron directly in the hands of Transformers fans around the globe. Beginning on January 23rd, 2017, fans will be able to visit Transformers.com to cast their vote to help determine which character will join the ranks of Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime and other Cybertronian legends. The fan-voted Prime will be featured in the Transformers Generations toy line and brand’s Prime Wars Trilogy storytelling in 2018.
The Prime serves as leader of Cybertron, wields the immense power of the Matrix of Leadership and holds the fate of the Transformers universe in their hands. This leader is usually chosen directly by the Matrix of Leadership, but the “Power of the Primes” fan vote will put the fans in command and give them the power to light the darkest hour and choose the bot to lead Cybertron into a historic new era.
“Hasbro’s past Transformers fan votes have led to some of our most exciting characters, including Windblade, Victorion and next year’s Trypticon Titan,” said Tom Warner, Senior Vice President of the Transformers franchise at Hasbro. Our “Power of the Primes” fan vote will raise the stakes higher than ever. The Prime sets the tone for all things in the Transformers universe, and we’re excited to see which direction our fans want to take.”
The first round of voting will begin on January 23rd, when fans can visit Transformers.com to choose between three groups of candidates – Honor, Chaos and Order.
Four finalists will be chosen by the fans and revealed by Hasbro in late January. Fans can then have the final say by returning to Transformers.com to vote between February 1st and February 4th. The winning Prime will be officially unveiled during New York Toy Fair in February.
