This works so well, I am in awe.

“Where are all the gods” right as Thor starts tossing people around

The chorus hits hard at the same time Valkyrie does and her first swing even connects right when the song has what sounds like a sparking sound effect

“He’s gotta be strong” just when Hulk steps in

The small synth flourish timed perfectly with a dramatic Loki hair flip

The fact that Thor keeps saying “that’s what heroes do” throughout the movie just makes this perfect

Which, I gotta say, is at least as good as Holding Out for a Hero.

The reason this scene works so well being turned into a music video is because it basically is a music video as written :D

I think I honestly like the Holding Out for a Hero version better, mostly because the movie ALREADY DID a fight scene set to “Immigrant Song.” I actually really like the idea of it starting with a song about being an invading army and ends with a song about being a good person, it fits the story perfectly.

Isn’t the part of “Immigrant Song” used at the end different and the lyrics are  symbolic? 

I mean I’m not gonna pretend I can understand a word of that song, but this is what I’ve been told.
