Nothing official! The subject came up during the MTMTE panel at the British convention TFNation last year, and @markerguru001 explained that he had relative heights for the characters (Roller, Megatron, Tarn are the “big” ones and about the same, the small ‘bots like Rewind, Swerve, Tailgate, were described as being “at about crotch level” on bigger ‘bots, etc) but no specific numbers. We’ve tagged him into this post, perhaps he can expand!

There are some official IDW heights, but they feature on the Revolution trading cards, so while there aren’t official heights for the DJD, there are some for, like, Optimus Prime and Victorion.

There’s me limiting my thinking to MTMTE again! The heights we have been given are:

Blitzwing: 30’
Victorion: Variable, approx 150′ (variable, we would presume, due to mass-shifting)
Soundwave: 32′
Windblade: 33′
Optimus Prime: 38′
Grimlock: 38′
Arcee: 33′

Presumably with the recent announcement of IDW’s Hasbro Heroes Sourcebook (coming in May!) plenty more Transformers characters will be given official heights!

Well, here’s the thing:

“Official” Transformers heights are always bullshit and meaningless.

Always.

No one adheres to them. They never matter in the stories. Artists draw characters the size they want to. They are literally arbitrary numbers figuratively pulled out of someone’s butt. I think Optimus Prime has had more official heights than there have been American Presidents.

And, yeah, find me a panel in which Arcee is taller than Soundwave, and I’ll eat every hat in the world.
