Willis, you've got so many storylines, like soooo many storylines. How do you keep them so interconected and makes them not feel tacked on or, y'know, feeling like they're not part of the same story? Specially when there's so many beats each story has to go through that require other stories to also be at a certain point and stuff?

Primarily, it helps to have all the time in the world to sit back and reflect on what you’re writing now, what you’re writing tomorrow, and what you might be writing six weeks from now.  It helps to be dedicatedly single-minded, which I can easily be.  This was my reality for about ten years.  In this environment, I could even do two to three webcomics at the same time.

Now that I have kids, though, it feels more like a tangible struggle to keep all my balls in the air juggling properly, wondering not IF I’m gonna miss catching a ball, but WHEN.
