You know, they never show the contingent of Ark-bound insects for some reason. Like, never just a swarm of various varieties of bees.
i bet the real ark experience was like this:

Honest question I have that I could probably answer with some Google but I’m gonna ask it anyway:
Is having, like, just two bees worthwhile? I mean, you have the queen and I guess you have a drone, but then I suppose there aren’t any worker bees? Does that… work? Does a hive survive that?
Does a bee count as a “clean” animal, of which Noah was allowed to take seven instead of two? Could there be five worker bees in that case? Would they make a hive on the Ark? From what flowers?
