On the International Transgender Day of Visibility, meet Howlback - a blue redeco of the original Generation 1 Ravage toy released exclusively through Japanese online retailer eHOBBY in 2005. She’s a member of the Decepticon Secret Police!
Howlback didn’t appear in any Transformers media until late 2013, when she showed up in the Transformers Collectors Club strip, “Recordicons.” The strip featured characters from both the Shattered Glass and Marvel Comics continuities, but since the Marvel series had previously explicitly stated that, in its world, Transformers had no genders, writer-artist (and TFWiki owner and admin!) David Willis - @itswalky - initially shied away from using her or other female cassettes like Rosanna or Flip Sides. After about a year, however, he changed his mind and included Howlback in a strip, hailing from the Marvel universe yet referred to with female pronouns. By this deliberate intent, Howlback became the very first transgender Transformer by choice - a character born into a “genderless” society, who identified as female and used female pronouns.
Howlback being trans was not directly addressed in the strip, more an implication left for readers to pick up on that Willis later made clear had been his intention. In 2015, however, the TFCC’s online feature “Ask Vector Prime” made the implication canon, describing Howlback as a ‘bot who managed her dysphoria by “referr[ing] to themselves with feminine pronouns, but felt no need for reformatting.”

Okay, okay, I admit defeat. Trying to think up one has given me a splitting headache.
TFWiki article of the moment - IDW Megatron, now updated in full through his MTMTE adventures!

Fresh from 1984 - and imported over the Atlantic, besides - have a trio of promotional mini-posters featuring Soundwave, the Decepticon jets, and Megatron, made using stills from the earliest Transformers comic and toy commercials. These ridiculously high-resolution scans were made, respectively, from Marvel UK’s Transformers #4, #5 and #6.
I actually scanned these some time ago, but at the time wrote them off as being useless because, due to the terrible color reproduction involved, they were incredibly red-tinged. However, I recently learned about Photoshop’s “Variations” tool (which is kind of embarrassing, given how long I’ve had the program), and my new stab at fixing them up produced much better results. Megatron is still terribly yellowish, though.
Fun fact: in these scans, Starscream is the one with the grey chest and white/red wings! These early ads seem to have been the source of his first Marvel Comics color scheme, which appears to have switched the grey to blue because of comics’ limited color palette at the time.
There were also mini-posters featuring Optimus Prime and the Autobot cars, but their animation designs didn’t change as drastically, so I didn’t scan them at the time. Might go back and do them anyway now…

It’s kind of fascinating the way Vortex’s colours wound up so weird in Fall of Cybertron.
Step 1: G1 Vortex’s Dreamwave profile art, used as his @tfwiki mainpic, gives his grey parts a beige tint (I’m told it’s like this in print, it’s not just a bad scan).
Step 2: A concept artist for the game uses that profile art as a reference when designing the Fall of Cybertron version, leading to a beige-ish Vortex. Additionally, his flappy hip skirts seem to be derived from the Dreamwave art’s hinged waist pieces. The concept artist also happens to used a redder shade of pink for Vortex’s torso.
Step 3: In the process of turning the concept art into an in-game model, the beige-ish grey becomes a full-blown beige, and the reddish pink becomes full-blown red (and also his head changes colour for some reason).
All very butterfly effect, innit?

Transformers with accents are a dime a dozen. Aside from any number of regional American accents, and plenty of British ‘bots, there are French Transformers, Australian Transformers, Scottish, Russian, and German Transformers, and more! But on St. Patrick’s Day, we lament that there’s never been an IRISH Transformer!
So the best we can offer you today is a collection of green Transformers from across the continuities…. annnnd… ummm… a picture of, uh… Nick Roche, why not.
There are, however, lots of drunk Transformers.
