I mean it's great, even the Decepticon's aren't really evil anymore, as far as it seems anyway, going by what Soundwave said in the latest issue.

Lots of Transformers series end the war!  In fact, Beast Wars starts out with the war over 300 years in its past.  And IDW ended its war and reformed its Megatron on about the same corporate timeframe as Transformers Prime did the same.  Kinda felt synergyish.  

Anyway, I don’t think Soundwave isn’t evil judging by what he said in the latest issue.  Yeah, he makes the Decepticons sound better with fancy words, but those dudes would still murder a bunch of humans without much thought, because Decepticons still don’t consider humans worthy of not murdering even though we can, you know, interact with them on their intellectual level.  Decepticons are still super racist and genocidal against organic species.  It just works out that they’re equally happy to get what they want from us without having to murder us.  Which is smarter!  But not really less evil.
