I’m starting to process photos of Masterpiece Rodimus Prime for TFwiki.net, and I thought I’d throw them in chunks onto Tumblr as I go along.  Here he is in car mode.

Woo, Hasbro’s Rodimus!  I’m of separate minds about this.  Well, okay, actually three separate minds, because one of those minds doesn’t give a crap about Rodimus.

The first mind is, aw man, he’s red.  I’d love an authentically-accurate magenta version with gunmetal legs.  Not that I’m surprised.  The whole reason his toys are red are so they’ll sell.  What kid wants a giant $70 pink toy?  But still.  

On the other hand, this toy-like deco, especially the “sticker” detail painted on his legs, really play into my plans to use him as Wreckers Rodimus.  Excellent.  Yes.

And, whee, bonus renamed Targetmaster partner Firebolt.
