I redrew the last panel of tonight’s strip at the last minute.  I was never very happy with the original (left) because it wasn’t very… interestingly staged?  And the anatomy was kind of off, and if you’re gonna draw two naked ladies, the anatomy shouldn’t be half-assed.  Naked ladies are awesome.  I didn’t even draw Robin’s parts under Leslie when I was penciling, and you can totally tell.  Sloppy and pedestrian.

But that’s all sort of almost forgivable on a day-to-day deadline except I wanted it to look like the two went absolutely crazy on each other, and just a few pieces of clothes thrown about wasn’t enough.  They had to be all over each other sideways across the bed, limbs everywhere.  That sort of put it over the top of “stuff I can shrug off as acceptable” to “shit that needs to be fixed.”

(Of course, finding ways to put two naked ladies on top of each other in interesting positions WITHOUT showing a cooter or a nipple is a whole nother puzzle.  I hate cheating the sheets, but sometimes you just gotta cheat the sheets.)

So, take two.  Enjoy the crappy take one, as well.
